Responsibly Sourced

Transparency is at the heart of everything we do, that’s why we want you to know exactly where our Collagen comes from. Where we can, we always try to make our products as sustainable as possible.

We use Type 1 Hydrolysed Marine Collagen. Our Collagen is sourced from the skins of wild, deep-sea ocean fish such as cod, haddock and pollock from the North Atlantic Ocean.

We’re proud to say that the fish skins that our Collagen derives from are a by-product of the food industry that would otherwise be thrown away, creating an efficient, ecological circular economy that maintains the smallest carbon footprint possible.

Our fishes have been caught in a sustainable way, according to good practices recommended by official bodies (FAO, ISEAL, GSSI).

Responsibly Sourced. Always Quality. Made Naturally.

Always Quality

When it comes to developing health and beauty supplements, quality is non-negotiable for us.

We also chose this method of sourcing (see above) to prevent any risk of exposure to antibiotics or hormones, which can sometimes occur with farm-raised fish. We only use the skin’s of cold water species, as their collagen has a higher amino-acid content and bioavailability.

Our Collagen is turned into small, easily consumable molecules known as peptides through a process called Enzymatic Hydrolysis. When taken orally, Hydrolysed Collagen reaches the small intestine, where it is absorbed into the bloodstream and distributed throughout the body.

Why?

Well, when consumed orally Collagen peptides are easier for the body to digest and compared to Collagen that has been sourced directly from fish.

All of our Collagen products are produced under the processed under the HACCP and sanitary program that has been consistently implemented in accordance with U.S. FDA seafood HACCP Regulation 21 CFR 123 and GMP Regulation 21 CFR 110.

Made Naturally

Our Advanced Collagen Supplement is free from soy, dairy, gluten, GMO and artificial colours and flavours, ensurity its purity and high quality.

It’s naturally sweet flavour comes from the plant extract Stevia, a sugar substitute made from the leaves of the Stevia plant. Across the globe in South America and Asia, people have been using Stevia leaves to sweeten drinks like tea for many years as it provides a naturally sweet substitute to highly processed sugars.

It goes without saying that we never test on animals.

Why this 50 year-old health- coach swears by Collagen

"I was first introduced to collagen via an insider tip from my lovely neighbour, who also happens to be a hugely knowledgeable nutritional therapist.

Around five years ago, she took me aside and gave me an invaluable piece of advice. I had just had a DEXA scan that revealed the bone density of my hips was weak – something that had first been picked up when I was only 35. Given that my mum had osteopenia and had suffered a few breaks, I was desperate to do whatever I could to protect my bones, which are, after all, the scaffolding for my whole self."
